Two waves rather than one, running in opposite directions, so the band rises on one side of the finger and again on the other with a trough between them. Laid flat it looks like a length of ribbon caught in a breeze. On the hand it reads as a ring that was designed rather than shaped.
The band
Carving two opposed crests into one band means the metal has to thicken and thin four times around the circumference and still feel even against the finger. The inside is left smooth and round while all the shaping happens on the outside — that is the only way a wave this pronounced stays comfortable. Nothing is set into it, so the whole surface is one continuous high polish.
About the gold
Solid 10K, 14K or 18K gold, or platinum, in the color you choose — never plated, never filled. Higher karats are richer in color and softer; 14K is the usual choice for a band worn every day, 18K for one that is worn a little more carefully. Every band is stamped with its karat on the inside.
About the photographs
The photographs on this page show this band as it is made. Because it is a fixed design rather than a setting built around a stone you choose, the ring you receive matches them closely. We photograph every finished ring and send you those images before it ships.
Common questions
Which way up does it go?
Either. With the crests at the sides the ring reads as a gentle S from above; rotated a quarter turn, one crest sits at the front of the finger and it reads as a peak. People change their minds about this after a week of wearing it, which is fine.
Does the shape make it harder to resize?
A little. The bench has to cut at a trough and re-carve the wave across the join, which adds maybe half an hour of work. It is entirely doable — just get the size right first if you can, and ask us for a plastic sizer.
Do the photographs show the exact ring I will receive?
Very nearly. This is a finished band made to a fixed specification, not a setting built around a stone you choose, so the ring in these photographs and the ring you receive are the same design at the same weight. We photograph every finished ring and send you those images before it ships.
Is this solid gold or plated?
Solid, all the way through, in the karat you select. Nothing here is plated or filled, and the inside of the band carries the karat stamp. A solid band can be polished and resized for as long as you own it, which is the whole argument for buying one rather than a plated ring.

Doubts? Good.
The right ring deserves them.
Yes. 100%. They're chemically, optically, and physically identical to mined diamonds — same hardness, same fire, same sparkle. Even a jeweler can't tell them apart without specialized equipment. The only difference is origin: ours grew in a few weeks instead of a few billion years.
Ready-to-ship pieces arrive in 3–5 business days with free insured shipping. Custom rings and bridal sets take 2–3 weeks — because each is handcrafted to order. We'll keep you posted at every stage, including a final photo before it ships.
No-questions-asked 30-day returns on every non-customized piece. If it's not perfect, send it back — full refund, no awkward calls. For custom and engraved pieces, we offer store credit so you can choose again.
Complimentary resizing within the first month— including a return-shipping label. Our lifetime warranty also covers ongoing maintenance, polishing, and minor repairs at no cost. The ring is yours forever; so is our service.
