Our Story
Named for the Night
In Greek myth, Nyx was the primordial goddess of night — so old and so absolute that even Zeus would not cross her. We took the name, and then spent three years earning it.
Why the night
Nyx drew darkness over the sky each evening so the stars could finally be seen. Strip away the noise and what is real becomes unmistakable.

She never needed daylight to prove she existed. Neither do we.
NYX Jewel was founded on one conviction: the lab-grown diamond industry does not have a quality problem. It has a sameness problem — hundreds of brands selling identical stones with identical words.
We spent two years inside that trade before we sold a single ring. Long enough to learn that almost every house buys from the same growers, uses the same three settings, and writes the same four adjectives. The stone was never the differentiator. It was the only thing anyone talked about.

Our aesthetic runs darker, moodier and more architectural than most fine jewellery. We pull from old-world goldsmithing, sculptural form and cinematic light — not from whatever is trending this season.

IXThe Stone
The diamond is real. The markup isn’t.
Lab-grown diamonds are chemically, optically and physically identical to mined stones. A trained gemologist cannot tell them apart without specialist equipment. The only difference is origin.

Carat is weight, not size — and weight rises far faster than the face-up diameter you actually see. A 2.00ct stone weighs twice a 1.00ct but looks only about a quarter wider on the hand.

Not made — remade. Re-engraved from a photograph, and left with the original wear marks on the shoulders where he asked us to stop polishing.
A note from us
We kept meeting people who had been sold a story about a stone and never once told about the ring. So we built the opposite — a house where the diamond is honest, the craft is named, and the piece is made for whoever inherits it as much as for the person wearing it first.

Yes. Chemically, optically and physically identical to a mined stone, and certified by the same labs. The only difference is where it was formed.
Treat any diamond as jewellery, not an investment. What holds value is the craft and the metal — which is exactly where we put the money.
No. A trained gemologist needs specialist equipment to tell them apart.
Two sizes either way, free, for life. Beyond that it is a remake, and we will tell you so before you order.
Two to three weeks from approved CAD. We have never shipped early to hit a date.
Bring it back. Re-tipping, re-polishing and stone tightening are covered for as long as the ring exists.
