A flat, square-edged 4mm band with ten diamonds sunk into its face, spaced evenly right around the ring. Nothing stands above the surface. Run your thumb across it and you feel gold, then a cool flat spot, then gold again.

The band

Flush setting — burnishing the metal down over the girdle so the stone sits level with the surface — is the only setting method that survives genuinely hard wear, which is why it ends up on the bands people actually never take off. It also demands a thick enough band to sink the stone into, and 4mm flat is about the minimum. Ten stations, 0.30 carats, and no claw anywhere on the ring to catch or wear.

Every stone in this band is a lab-grown diamond — the same carbon crystal structure, hardness and optical behavior as a mined diamond, grown rather than extracted. Common questions

Why so little carat weight on such a wide band?
Because flush setting shows stones as bright points rather than a mass of light — the effect comes from the spacing against plain gold, not from the total weight. Loading this band with bigger stones would close the gaps and lose the whole idea.

Can it be resized?
Within about a size. The stations run right around, so the bench has to cut between two of them and re-space slightly. Beyond a size the spacing starts to look uneven, which is exactly the fault this design cannot hide.

Do the photographs show the exact ring I will receive?
Very nearly. This is a finished band made to a fixed specification, not a setting built around a stone you choose, so the ring in these photographs and the ring you receive are the same design at the same weight. We photograph every finished ring and send you those images before it ships.

Are the diamonds certified?
As a set, yes. Calibrated stones of this size are not individually certified — nobody grades a small calibrated stone on its own paper — so we supply a certificate covering the total carat weight and the matched color and clarity range for the whole band.
