Three diamonds, joined by two short lengths of hammered gold, forming a triangle that sits above the band rather than in it. It is drawn rather than set — the bars are the lines, the stones are the points, and you can see straight through the gaps between them to the finger underneath.

The band

Everything on this ring is hammered, including the bars: the tiny irregular facets that leaves catch light in a scattered way that polished gold does not, which keeps the fine wire from disappearing next to the stones. The largest bezel sits at the bottom point of the triangle and the two smaller ones at the top corners, so the shape has an obvious orientation. Three stones, 0.16 carats.

Common questions

Is the triangle strong enough to knock?
The bars are short and thick relative to their length, which is what makes the structure rigid — a longer span would flex. It is a fine ring and it will not survive being crushed, but normal daily wear does not trouble it.

Does the hammered finish need maintenance?
No. Hammered gold hides small scratches far better than a polished finish, which is one of the practical arguments for it. If it ever looks tired, a bench can re-texture it in minutes.

Do the photographs show the exact ring I will receive?
Very nearly. This is a finished band made to a fixed specification, not a setting built around a stone you choose, so the ring in these photographs and the ring you receive are the same design at the same weight. We photograph every finished ring and send you those images before it ships.

Are the diamonds certified?
As a set, yes. Calibrated stones of this size are not individually certified — nobody grades a 0.10ct melee stone on its own paper — so we supply a certificate covering the total carat weight and the matched color and clarity range for the whole band.
