Five bezel-set diamonds across the front of a fine band, each one raised on its own little collar, with a much smaller stone let in flush between every pair. Large, small, large, small — the rhythm is what makes a half band of eleven stones read as considered rather than simply interrupted where the diamonds run out.

The band

The larger bezels stand slightly proud of the wire and catch the light in five distinct points; the small flush stones sit level and read as a shimmer connecting them. That difference in height is deliberate, and it is what gives an otherwise very simple ring some depth. Eleven stones, 0.18 carats, across the front half only — the back of the band is plain polished wire, which keeps it comfortable and makes it easy to resize.

Every stone in this band is a lab-grown diamond — the same carbon crystal structure, hardness and optical behavior as a mined diamond, grown rather than extracted. Common questions

Why a half band rather than full eternity?
Three reasons, all practical: it costs less for the same look from above, it resizes freely because there is a plain section to work in, and the plain back does not wear against the fingers either side. Nobody sees the back of your ring.

Can I wear it stacked?
It is designed for it. The wire is fine and round in section, so it sits tight against whatever is next to it, and the raised bezels give a stack some variation in height rather than three flat bands in a row.

Do the photographs show the exact ring I will receive?
Very nearly. This is a finished band made to a fixed specification, not a setting built around a stone you choose, so the ring in these photographs and the ring you receive are the same design at the same weight. We photograph every finished ring and send you those images before it ships.

Are the diamonds certified?
As a set, yes. Calibrated stones of this size are not individually certified — nobody grades a 0.10ct melee stone on its own paper — so we supply a certificate covering the total carat weight and the matched color and clarity range for the whole band.
