A round brilliant with a pear leaning in from each side, on a band that rises and falls in a shallow wave rather than running straight into the stone.

The setting

The round sits in claws with a pear-cut accent at each shoulder, angled inward so the points face the center stone and the three together form a wide, soft shape across the finger. Accents come to roughly 0.40ct. The band waves gently as it approaches, which does two things: it seats a curved wedding band perfectly, and it stops the three stones sitting in a rigid straight line. Everything is polished gold with no pave, so the only light on the ring comes from the three stones.

Common questions

Why pear side stones rather than round?
A pear has a direction. Angled inward, the two of them point at the center stone and pull the eye there; two rounds would simply sit beside it.

Does it need a shaped wedding band?
It is designed for one — the wave is cut so a curved band nests into it without a gap. We make matching bands to the exact curve.

Do the photographs show the exact ring I will receive?
The setting, yes — those are photographs of this setting made in our workshop. The diamond in them is one specific stone, so a different center stone will not look identical: a heavier one covers more of the finger and sits slightly higher. We photograph every finished ring and send you those images before it ships.

Is the center stone certified?
Yes. Every center stone of 1 carat and above ships with an IGI certificate stating carat, cut, color and clarity. Accent and pave stones are matched to the same color and clarity range but are not individually certified.
