Two lines of diamonds sweep up from opposite sides, pass each other behind the stone and carry on. The round brilliant sits right where they cross.

The setting

A round brilliant is claw-set at the crossing point of a shank whose two arms carry shared-claw round accents, about 0.35ct in total, running roughly halfway down each side. Shared-claw setting — one claw holding two neighboring stones — keeps the metal between them to a minimum, so the line of accents reads as continuous light rather than as a row of separate stones. Below the crossing the arms narrow into plain polished gold at the back, which keeps the ring comfortable and keeps the accents where they can actually be seen.

Common questions

What is shared-claw setting?
Each small claw grips two stones at once instead of one. Less metal shows between the diamonds, so the row looks brighter and more continuous than bead-set pave.

Do the accents run all the way round?
No — about halfway down each arm, then plain gold to the back. That is deliberate: stones under the finger get knocked and add cost without being visible.

Do the photographs show the exact ring I will receive?
The setting, yes — those are photographs of this setting made in our workshop. The diamond in them is one specific stone, so a different center stone will not look identical: a heavier one covers more of the finger and sits slightly higher. We photograph every finished ring and send you those images before it ships.

Is the center stone certified?
