A heavy, completely round band — the kind of weight you usually only find in a wedding ring — with a radiant cut standing straight up out of it.

The setting

The shank is a full round section, thick front to back, with no taper at all; against the finger it feels like a solid ring rather than a setting. The radiant sits lengthwise in four claws at the corners, lifted just clear of the band. That contrast is the whole design: a stone cut for maximum fire, on metal with none. There are no accents, no gallery detail and no milgrain anywhere. It is also, gram for gram, the most metal in the collection, which is worth knowing when you compare it to a fine band.

Common questions

Is a round band comfortable?
Extremely — there are no edges to press into the adjacent fingers, which is why almost every comfort-fit wedding band uses this profile.

Does the heavy band make the stone look smaller?
It makes it look solid rather than small. If you want the diamond to look as large as possible, a fine band does that better; this ring is about balance, not maximum stone.

Do the photographs show the exact ring I will receive?
The setting, yes — those are photographs of this setting made in our workshop. The diamond in them is one specific stone, so a different center stone will not look identical: a heavier one covers more of the finger and sits slightly higher. We photograph every finished ring and send you those images before it ships.
