Six teardrops, all pointing the same direction, each one wrapped in its own gold bezel. The point of every stone tucks into the wide end of the one in front of it, so the run flows around the finger instead of sitting in it.

The band

A pear bezel is the fussiest of the lot, because the wall has to be tight at the point without pinching it and generous at the belly without looking loose. Six in a row means the same wall thickness has to read correctly through a shape that changes radius continuously. When it is right, as here, the collets nest so closely that the gaps between them vanish and the whole run reads as one moving form. 0.95 carats across six.

Common questions

Are the points protected?
Completely. That is the argument for bezel-setting a pear — the tip, which is the only genuinely vulnerable part of the cut, is wrapped in metal on every side. A claw-set pear is prettier; a bezel-set one survives being worn without thinking about it.

Can the direction be reversed?
Yes. Say which hand you wear it on and which way you want the points to run and we will make it that way round. It costs nothing and it matters more than people expect once the ring is on.

Do the photographs show the exact ring I will receive?
Very nearly. This is a finished band made to a fixed specification, not a setting built around a stone you choose, so the ring in these photographs and the ring you receive are the same design at the same weight. We photograph every finished ring and send you those images before it ships.

Are the diamonds certified?
As a set, yes. Calibrated stones of this size are not individually certified — nobody grades a small calibrated stone on its own paper — so we supply a certificate covering the total carat weight and the matched color and clarity range for the whole band.
