Two pears, one large and one small, set side by side and tilted toward each other. Nothing else on the band at all.

The setting

The center pear stands point-up in claws with a single smaller pear set beside it, angled in so the two shapes lean together rather than sitting parallel. The band is plain and narrow — there is no pave, no halo and no third stone to balance the composition, which is the point: the asymmetry is the design. Accent weight is about 0.12ct. A V-collar caps the center stone's point. It is the quietest ring in this group and the one that looks least like a conventional engagement ring.

Common questions

Why only one side stone?
Because two would make it a three-stone ring and a different object entirely. One offsets the center and gives the ring a direction on the hand — it is meant to look slightly off-balance.

Will it sit flush with a wedding band?
Close to it. The setting is low and the shank is straight, so a plain band meets it with only a small gap under the accent stone.

Do the photographs show the exact ring I will receive?
The setting, yes — those are photographs of this setting made in our workshop. The diamond in them is one specific stone, so a different center stone will not look identical: a heavier one covers more of the finger and sits slightly higher. We photograph every finished ring and send you those images before it ships.
