Two strands wind around each other up to the stone — one bright with small diamonds, one bare gold — and cross again under the head.

The setting

A pear sits point-up in claws over a split gallery. Below it the shank divides into two strands that twist around one another all the way to the back of the finger: one carries bead-set round accents of roughly 0.25ct, the other is left polished. Alternating a set strand with a bare one is what makes a twist readable — twist two pave strands together and the eye sees a single wide band and the whole detail vanishes. Both strands stay narrow, which keeps the ring delicate at a size where most twisted shanks start to look heavy.

Common questions

Can the pear point the other way?
Yes. Point-up toward the knuckle lengthens the finger; point-down sits more comfortably under a wedding band. Tell us which you want at checkout.

How fine is the band?
Around 1.8mm across the two strands together. It is a delicate ring, and in 10K we would keep the center stone under about 2.5ct.

Do the photographs show the exact ring I will receive?
The setting, yes — those are photographs of this setting made in our workshop. The diamond in them is one specific stone, so a different center stone will not look identical: a heavier one covers more of the finger and sits slightly higher. We photograph every finished ring and send you those images before it ships.

Is the center stone certified?
