Two pears facing opposite ways on a band that never closes — a large one standing point-up, a small one lying point-down in the end of the shank.

The setting

The center pear sits point-up with a V-claw over the tip and two claws at the base. The shank sweeps past it and ends in a flattened terminal carrying a small pear of roughly 0.15ct, rub-over set and pointing the other way. Mirroring the shape at a tenth of the size is what ties the ring together; the same design with a round accent loses the rhyme completely. Everything is polished plain gold with no other stones.

Common questions

Why is the small pear pointing down?
So the two shapes answer each other rather than repeat. Set both the same way and the ring reads as a mistake in scale; set them opposed and it reads as a pair.

Can I have the little stone on the other side?
Yes. Say left or right at checkout and we build it to sit the way you want it on your hand.

Do the photographs show the exact ring I will receive?
