The band is not a band. It is a chain of individually bezelled diamonds that graduate down from the center stone and dip into a V beneath it.

The setting

A pear is claw-set point-up at the apex of a chevron shank made of round accents — each one in its own gold collar, touching its neighbors, graduating from around 0.10ct beside the center stone to tiny at the back, roughly 0.90ct in total. Rub-over setting on a curve is slow work: every collar has to sit at its own angle and still meet the next one cleanly, and the line only looks right if the graduation is smooth. The result is a band that has weight and structure rather than the flat glitter of pave.

The setting is exactly what you will receive; a different center stone changes the proportions — a heavier one spans more of the finger and sits a little higher. We photograph every finished ring and send you those images before it ships.

Common questions

How is this different from a pave band?
Pave hides the metal and reads as a sheet of sparkle. Bezels show the gold between each stone, so the band has rhythm and looks antique rather than modern — and nothing can snag.

Can it be resized?
Barely. The whole shank is set with stones, so sizing means re-making sections of it. Please give us your size at checkout.

Do the photographs show the exact ring I will receive?
The setting, yes — those are photographs of this setting made in our workshop. The diamond in them is one specific stone, so a different center stone will not look identical: a heavier one covers more of the finger and sits slightly higher. We photograph every finished ring and send you those images before it ships.

Is the center stone certified?
