Three oval diamonds laid across the finger, side by side, each in a milgrain-edged bezel — and then the ring keeps going, with three small rounds shrinking away down each shoulder. The taper is what turns a three-stone band into something that looks like it continues rather than stopping.

The band

Turning the ovals east-west is what lets three of them fit across a 1.5mm band without hanging over the edges; set north-south they would occupy three times the length and read as a row rather than a group. The milgrain round each bezel gives the trio a soft antique outline, while the claw-set rounds on the shoulders are left plain and modern — that slight mismatch is deliberate and stops the ring reading as a reproduction. Nine stones, 0.30 carats.

Common questions

Could this work as an engagement ring?
People do use it that way, and it suits anyone who does not want a single large stone. Bear in mind it is built as a band — the profile is low and the ovals are modest — so it reads as a wedding band worn alone rather than as a solitaire.

Do east-west ovals show the bowtie?
Less than north-south ones do, because you rarely look straight down their long axis. We select ovals with a length-to-width ratio that keeps the shadow minimal and check each one before setting.

Do the photographs show the exact ring I will receive?

Are the diamonds certified?
As a set, yes. Calibrated stones of this size are not individually certified — nobody grades a 0.10ct melee stone on its own paper — so we supply a certificate covering the total carat weight and the matched color and clarity range for the whole band.
