Nine bezels, one after another, on a shank so fine it almost disappears beneath them. The setting is wider than the band it sits on, which is what makes the row of collets look like a bracelet-link chain wrapped round the finger.

The band

Making the shank narrower than the bezels is a deliberate inversion of the usual rule. It costs strength and buys lightness: the ring carries noticeably less metal than a matching shank would need, and the bezels read as separate links rather than as bumps on a band. The compromise is that this is not the band to wear while moving furniture. Nine stones, 1.15 carats.

About our lab-grown diamonds

Every stone in this band is a lab-grown diamond — the same carbon crystal structure, hardness and optical behavior as a mined diamond, grown rather than extracted. The stones are matched to one another for color and clarity across the whole ring and certified as a set rather than individually, which is standard for calibrated stones of this size.

Common questions

Is a 1.9mm shank strong enough under nine bezels?
For normal daily wear, yes — the set section is stiff, and the fine part is only at the back where there is no leverage. It is not the right ring for someone who works with their hands, and we would rather say so than sell you one you will bring back out of round.

How does it differ from the seven-oval version?
That one has fewer, larger stones on a flat 2.9mm shank and reads as a solid band. This one has nine smaller stones on a fine shank and reads as a chain. Different weight, different price, same setting method.

Do the photographs show the exact ring I will receive?
Very nearly. This is a finished band made to a fixed specification, not a setting built around a stone you choose, so the ring in these photographs and the ring you receive are the same design at the same weight. We photograph every finished ring and send you those images before it ships.

Are the diamonds certified?
As a set, yes. Calibrated stones of this size are not individually certified — nobody grades a small calibrated stone on its own paper — so we supply a certificate covering the total carat weight and the matched color and clarity range for the whole band.
