Thirteen ovals, all lying across the finger, set end to end so the run reads as one long ribbon of light rather than thirteen separate stones. On a band this fine the diamonds carry the whole ring — you barely see the metal from above.

The band

Ovals set east-west share claws at their narrow ends, which is the most efficient place to put metal: the claw sits where the stone is already narrowing so it barely reads at all. The consequence is a run with almost no visible gold between stones. Keeping the shank to 2.1mm underneath is what completes the effect — any wider and the metal starts to show past the edges of the ovals. 1.05 carats across thirteen.

Common questions

How is this different from the wider oval half eternity?
This one uses thirteen smaller ovals on a fine 2.1mm band; the other uses nine larger ones on a heavier band. Similar total weight, very different look — this reads as a fine line, that reads as a statement.

Do the ovals all match?
They are cut to one calibrated size and matched for color and clarity before setting. Ovals vary more in outline than rounds do, so we sort for length-to-width ratio as well — a run where one stone is visibly rounder than its neighbors is the most common fault in this style and it is avoidable.

Do the photographs show the exact ring I will receive?
Very nearly. This is a finished band made to a fixed specification, not a setting built around a stone you choose, so the ring in these photographs and the ring you receive are the same design at the same weight. We photograph every finished ring and send you those images before it ships.

Are the diamonds certified?
As a set, yes. Calibrated stones of this size are not individually certified — nobody grades a small calibrated stone on its own paper — so we supply a certificate covering the total carat weight and the matched color and clarity range for the whole band.
