The band dips into a shallow V beneath the stone, with diamonds running down both arms of the V to the point.

The setting

An oval is claw-set lengthwise at the apex of a chevron shank — the band drops into a V under the head and rises again, with shared-claw round accents of about 0.35ct running down both arms. A V-shank does something a straight band cannot: it points, and the eye follows the two lines up to the stone. It also sits lower against the finger at the sides, which makes the setting look taller than it is.

Common questions

Is this the same as a wishbone band?
Same geometry, yes — chevron, V-shank and wishbone all describe a band that dips to a point. The difference here is that the V carries the diamonds rather than a matching plain band.

Can I wear a straight wedding band with it?
It will sit against the point of the V and leave a small triangle of space. A matching chevron band closes it exactly, and looks intentional.

Do the photographs show the exact ring I will receive?
The setting, yes — those are photographs of this setting made in our workshop. The diamond in them is one specific stone, so a different center stone will not look identical: a heavier one covers more of the finger and sits slightly higher. We photograph every finished ring and send you those images before it ships.

Is the center stone certified?
Yes. Every center stone of 1 carat and above ships with an IGI certificate stating carat, cut, color and clarity. Accent and pave stones are matched to the same color and clarity range but are not individually certified.
