Small stones gather at the shoulders in twos and threes, some round, some pear, none the same size. It looks less arranged than a pave line and more like something that grew there.

The setting

The oval is claw-set lengthwise. At each shoulder a small cluster of accents in mixed cuts and diameters is bead-set into the band — a pear here, two rounds there — thinning out as it runs toward the back. Using more than one cut is what stops it reading as a graduated pave; the eye sees a scatter rather than a sequence. Accent weight is about 0.18ct. The band itself stays narrow so the clusters sit proud of it rather than being absorbed into the metal.

Common questions

Are the two sides identical?
Deliberately not. The clusters are mirrored in feel, not in placement, which is why the ring looks hand-made rather than cast from one pattern.

Can the accents be matched if one is lost?
Yes. Each is individually bead-set, so a single stone can be replaced without touching its neighbours or remaking the shank.

Do the photographs show the exact ring I will receive?
The setting, yes — those are photographs of this setting made in our workshop. The diamond in them is one specific stone, so a different center stone will not look identical: a heavier one covers more of the finger and sits slightly higher. We photograph every finished ring and send you those images before it ships.
