The shank dips. Not a sharp V, not a full bypass — a shallow wave that lowers under the stone and rises again at the shoulders, so the oval sits in a cradle rather than on a straight line. It is the smallest structural change we make to a solitaire, and it is the one people notice on the hand.

The ring

A 1ct oval, roughly 7.7 x 5.7mm, stands north-south in four slim claws on a curved shank. The wave is subtle enough that the ring still reads as a classic solitaire from across a table, and pronounced enough that a straight wedding band will not sit against it — which is why the matching curve comes in the set.

The band

The band follows the same wave, dipping to meet the underside of the setting. 0.36ct of round lab-grown diamonds are bead-set along the upper face of the curve, running from shoulder to shoulder and stopping where the band meets the ring. Together the two curves make one continuous S across the finger.

About our lab-grown diamonds

Every stone we set is a lab-grown diamond — the same carbon crystal structure, hardness and optical behaviour as a mined diamond, grown rather than extracted. Centre stones of 1 carat and above ship with an IGI certificate stating carat, cut, colour and clarity. Melee and pave stones are matched to the same colour and clarity range but are not individually certified.

Common questions

Why not just use a straight wedding band?
A straight band leaves a visible gap under a curved shank and rocks against it, which wears both rings over time. The curve in this band is cut to match the ring exactly.

Is this a low-profile ring?
Yes. The curved shank sits closer to the finger than a cathedral or hidden-halo setting, and the claws are kept short. It is one of the easier engagement rings we make to wear daily.

How does it compare to the Rapture bypass sets?
The Curve is a true solitaire with a gentle wave; Rapture is a bypass where the shank passes around the stone and half-bezels it. Curve is quieter and more classic; Rapture is more sculptural.

Can I wear the pave band alone?
Yes. On its own it reads as a soft curved eternity-style band with a 0.36ct diamond line across the top.

Do you offer a matching plain curved band?
