One marquise standing straight up at the front of the ring, point toward the knuckle, with three rounds stepping down each side of it. The band dips into a V beneath so the whole thing reads as a small tiara rather than a row of stones.

The band

Standing a marquise upright is what makes this shape work — laid flat it would be just another stone in the row, but stood on end it becomes the apex and everything else becomes a supporting cast. The rounds either side are graduated so the outline falls away smoothly, and the V of the band picks up the same angle as the marquise's lower point. Seven stones, 0.45 carats.

Common questions

Does the marquise stand high?
It sits about 3mm above the band at its tip, which is the highest point of the ring. Tall enough to read as a peak from the side, low enough that it goes under a cuff without argument.

Will it nest with my engagement ring?
The V is cut for a pointed center — a pear or marquise solitaire. Against a round or oval solitaire the marquise tip will usually sit proud of the shoulder rather than tucking under. Send us a photograph before you order.

As a set, yes. Calibrated stones of this size are not individually certified — nobody grades a small calibrated stone on its own paper — so we supply a certificate covering the total carat weight and the matched color and clarity range for the whole band.
