A marquise laid across the finger inside a hexagonal gold setting, with baguettes stepping down away from it on both sides and small rounds punctuating the gaps. The stepping is even and symmetrical, which is what makes it read as Deco rather than as a cluster — it is architecture, not a spray.

The band

The center marquise is 0.25 carats on its own; the ten stones around it add another 0.45. Setting it east-west is what keeps a long cut from running up the finger and turning the ring into a solitaire, and the hexagonal collar around it — six straight sides rather than a follow-the-outline bezel — is the single most Deco decision on the piece. Each baguette beyond it is slightly shorter than the one before, so the profile descends in clean steps to the plain shank.

Common questions

Could this be an engagement ring?
It is bought that way often enough. At 0.70 carats in total it has real presence for a band, and the marquise gives it a clear center. What it does not have is a single large stone, so if that is what you want this is not the piece.

Do the marquise points chip?
The hexagonal setting covers both points completely, which is more protection than a standard V-claw gives. Marquise points chip when they are left exposed; these are not.

Do the photographs show the exact ring I will receive?
Very nearly. This is a finished band made to a fixed specification, not a setting built around a stone you choose, so the ring in these photographs and the ring you receive are the same design at the same weight. We photograph every finished ring and send you those images before it ships.

Are the diamonds certified?
As a set, yes. Calibrated stones of this size are not individually certified — nobody grades a 0.10ct melee stone on its own paper — so we supply a certificate covering the total carat weight and the matched color and clarity range for the whole band.
