A marquise flanked by two smaller stones set on the same axis, so the cluster comes to a point at both ends and reads as one long shape running up the finger.

The setting

The marquise is claw-set lengthwise with V-collars on both tips, and a smaller stone angled in at each shoulder. The band carries bead-set pave running about a third of the way round. Accents come to roughly 0.40ct. Because the side stones sit on the same axis as the center rather than square to it, the three stones form a continuous line rather than a row - it is a longer, more dramatic silhouette than a three-stone round, and it suits a longer finger.

Common questions

Does this look bigger than a solitaire of the same center weight?
Considerably. The side stones extend the shape at both ends, so a 1.5ct center here covers about as much finger as a 2ct solitaire.

Are the marquise points protected?
Yes - both tips sit in V-shaped collars that grip along two edges rather than pressing down from above.

Do the photographs show the exact ring I will receive?
The setting, yes — those are photographs of this setting made in our workshop. The diamond in them is one specific stone, so a different center stone will not look identical: a heavier one covers more of the finger and sits slightly higher.
