Many small petals close around the center like a flower holding a seed. Below them, set into the band, a short row of little marquise diamonds repeats the shape of the stone they lead up to.

The setting

With roughly eight to ten petal claws, the grip on the marquise is shared among many points, so no single claw carries much load. The basket beneath is a hidden crown lined with pave, visible in profile. The band is engraved with a twisting wave and edged with milgrain, and each marquise accent sits in its own framed window with small rounds between. Echoing the center shape along the shank ties the whole ring together. It is photographed with a 1.5 ct marquise.

Common questions

Do many petal claws hide more of the diamond?
Each petal is small, so together they cover little more than a six-claw head. They do soften the outline of the marquise, giving it a floral frame instead of a crisp edge.

Are the marquise accents in the band secure?
Each one sits in a framed window with milgrain around it, which protects its points better than open prongs. Because they are on the top of the band, a periodic check is still worthwhile.

Do the photographs show the exact ring I will receive?
The setting, yes. The diamond in the photographs is one specific stone, so a different center will not look identical: a heavier one covers more of the finger and sits slightly higher. We photograph every finished ring and send you those images before it ships.

Yes. Every center stone of 1 carat and above ships with an IGI certificate stating carat, cut, color and clarity. Accent and pave stones are matched to the same color and clarity range but are not individually certified.
