The setting

The marquise is held by six claws including a V over each point, above shoulders that arch up into the head rather than running flat into it. A tapered baguette of about 0.15ct sits at each shoulder, its long axis following the line of the finger so the three stones together make one continuous elongated shape. The cathedral rise is what separates this from a flat three-stone ring: seen from the side there is an open space under the center stone, and the whole head reads as lifted rather than seated.

Common questions

Why does the ring look longer than the stone?
Because the baguettes run in line with the marquise rather than across it. The eye reads all three as one shape, which is roughly a third longer than the center stone alone.

Is there a gap under the stone?
Yes — that is the cathedral arch. It keeps the profile light and makes the ring easier to clean than a solid gallery.

Do the photographs show the exact ring I will receive?
The setting, yes — those are photographs of this setting made in our workshop. The diamond in them is one specific stone, so a different center stone will not look identical: a heavier one covers more of the finger and sits slightly higher. We photograph every finished ring and send you those images before it ships.

Is the center stone certified?
