On the standard Rapture the diamonds live on the band. Here they move onto the ring — 0.20ct set directly into the lower arm of the bypass, so the sparkle sits right against the center stone instead of a millimeter below it.

The ring

A 1ct marquise lies east-west in the half-bezel, points tucked into claws at either end. The bypass shank sweeps behind it as usual, but the lower arm is channeled and bead-set with a line of small round lab-grown diamonds that curves under the marquise and fades out toward the shank. That demi-pave is what makes the ring work on its own — most bypass solitaires look unfinished without a band nested beneath them; this one does not.

The bands

Two bands come with the set: a contoured pave band and a contoured plain band, both cut to the bypass curve. Stack either one under the ring, or both, or wear the ring alone. The plain band is the one most people end up wearing daily; the pave band is what turns the set into a three-ring stack.

About our lab-grown diamonds

Every stone we set is a lab-grown diamond — the same carbon crystal structure, hardness and optical behavior as a mined diamond, grown rather than extracted. Centre stones of 1 carat and above ship with an IGI certificate stating carat, cut, colour and clarity. Melee and pave stones are matched to the same colour and clarity range but are not individually certified.

Common questions

What does demi-pave mean here?
That the pave is set into the engagement ring's own shank — along the lower arm of the bypass — rather than only on a separate band. 'Demi' because it covers part of the curve, not the full circumference.

Can I wear the engagement ring on its own?
Yes, and this is the set designed for that. The demi-pave finishes the curve, so the ring does not look like it is missing a band.

How many rings are included?
Three: the engagement ring, a contoured pave band, and a contoured plain band.

Is 0.20ct of pave noticeable?
It is a fine line rather than a statement — small stones close to the center, catching light when the hand moves.

Can the demi-pave be resized around?
Resizing is done at the base of the shank, away from the stones, so yes — within about two sizes either way.
