The same open band with a rectangular bezel across the finger, but one arm is now set with diamonds the whole way down to the back.

The setting

An emerald cut sits east-west in a full rub-over bezel. The shank passes under it, ending on one side in a small bezel-set step cut and running the other way as a line of bead-set round accents, about 0.30ct in total, that continues around the finger. The asymmetry is the design: one arm is metal and one is light, and which one you see depends on the angle. Because the pave arm is open-ended rather than joined, the stones can be set right to the tip without a soldered seam.

Common questions

Does the pave arm make it harder to resize?
Yes — set stones cannot be cut through, so resizing has to be done from the plain arm and is limited. Give us your size at checkout if you know it.

Why set stones on only one side?
The band is open, so the two arms are read separately rather than as a pair. Setting both would close the design up; setting one keeps the contrast.

Do the photographs show the exact ring I will receive?
The setting, yes — those are photographs of this setting made in our workshop. The diamond in them is one specific stone, so a different center stone will not look identical: a heavier one covers more of the finger and sits slightly higher. We photograph every finished ring and send you those images before it ships.

Is the center stone certified?
Yes. Every center stone of 1 carat and above ships with an IGI certificate stating carat, cut, color and clarity. Accent and pave stones are matched to the same color and clarity range but are not individually certified.
