Fourteen stones, each in a bezel of its own with a fine milgrain edge — baguette, round, baguette, round — across the front of a brushed gold band. Every setting is separate, which is unusual and expensive, and it gives the ring a stitched, hand-made quality that a continuous channel never has.

The band

The brushed finish on the band is doing quiet work here: against polished gold, fourteen milgrain edges would compete with reflections and turn into visual noise. Against satin they read cleanly, each bezel a distinct little frame. Alternating a step cut with a brilliant means the light changes character every 2mm along the band. Half eternity, 0.30 carats — the back is plain brushed gold.

About our lab-grown diamonds

Every stone in this band is a lab-grown diamond — the same carbon crystal structure, hardness and optical behavior as a mined diamond, grown rather than extracted. The stones are matched to one another for color and clarity across the whole ring and certified as a set rather than individually, which is standard for calibrated stones of this size.

Common questions

Why individual bezels rather than one channel?
Because a channel makes fourteen stones read as one strip. Separate bezels keep each stone as its own object, and the milgrain edges mean the gold between them is a feature rather than a gap. It is more work and it costs more; it also looks completely different.

Will the milgrain hold up?
It softens over the years and eventually rounds off, which is the normal life of a milgrain edge. It can be re-cut. Nothing about it affects how securely the stones are held — the bezel wall does that, not the beading.

Do the photographs show the exact ring I will receive?
Very nearly. This is a finished band made to a fixed specification, not a setting built around a stone you choose, so the ring in these photographs and the ring you receive are the same design at the same weight. We photograph every finished ring and send you those images before it ships.

Are the diamonds certified?
As a set, yes. Calibrated stones of this size are not individually certified — nobody grades a 0.10ct melee stone on its own paper — so we supply a certificate covering the total carat weight and the matched color and clarity range for the whole band.
