The diamonds are not in the middle of this band. They run along one edge, standing upright, with the rest of the face left as plain flat gold below them. It is an unbalanced arrangement on purpose — turn your hand and the ring is a line of white light with a gold band under it, rather than a diamond band seen straight on.

The band

Sixteen baguettes set on their ends, held by shared claws that read as a row of fine gold beads along the top edge. Because the stones sit at the edge rather than the center, the flat face below them stays completely clean, and that contrast is what makes the ring modern rather than traditional. Half eternity — the back of the band is plain, which keeps it comfortable and easy to resize. 0.55 carats across sixteen stones.

Common questions

Which way up should it be worn?
Either. Most people wear the diamond edge upward, toward the knuckle, because that is the edge you see looking down at your own hand. Worn the other way the stones face outward and read more strongly to other people. It is symmetrical enough to go either way.

Do the shared claws wear?
They are the working part of the ring, and on any shared-claw band they are what needs attention first — typically after many years of daily wear. Have them checked when you have the ring cleaned and a bench can re-tip them cheaply, long before anything is at risk.

Do the photographs show the exact ring I will receive?
Very nearly. This is a finished band made to a fixed specification, not a setting built around a stone you choose, so the ring in these photographs and the ring you receive are the same design at the same weight. We photograph every finished ring and send you those images before it ships.

Are the diamonds certified?
As a set, yes. Calibrated stones of this size are not individually certified — nobody grades a 0.10ct melee stone on its own paper — so we supply a certificate covering the total carat weight and the matched color and clarity range for the whole band.
