Three carats on a band you could mistake for a wire. The contrast is the entire design — an elongated cushion that covers most of the finger, held up by a shank so fine it loops back on itself behind the stone.

The design

The 3ct elongated cushion stands lengthwise, roughly 10 x 8mm, in four double claws. The shank is narrow and rounded, rising from the back, looping past the stone on one side and finishing under it on the other. There is no gallery structure of any kind — the claws rise straight from the loop, so from directly above you see the cushion's full outline with almost no metal interrupting it. The elongated cut is doing something specific here: a square cushion at 3ct would look blocky on this band, while the stretched proportion follows the line of the finger.

Why this ring exists once

A single piece. Three carats of elongated cushion is not a stock size, and the loop was bent to this stone's dimensions.

Common questions

Is a fine band strong enough for a 3ct stone?
It is engineered for it — the shank thickens where it meets the claws even though it reads as thin. That said, this is a ring for careful wear, not for lifting weights in.

What is an elongated cushion?
A cushion cut stretched along one axis, so it reads as a soft-cornered rectangle rather than a square. It gives more finger coverage per carat and a longer, more modern outline than a classic cushion.

Will a 3ct ring feel heavy?
The stone is light; the metal is what adds weight, and there is very little of it here. This is one of the lighter 3ct rings you will wear.

Does it sit high?
Yes, higher than the bezel and wrap settings in this collection — the open loop lifts the stone. That is the trade for the silhouette.

Is the center stone certified?
