A 1.75 carat oval on a band that curves once, gently, as it passes. Nothing about this ring is loud — it is simply a very good stone on a shank that has been drawn rather than engineered.

The design

The oval stands lengthwise, roughly 9 x 7mm, in four claws. The shank rises from the back, curves past the stone in a shallow S and finishes beneath it, so from the side the ring is one continuous line with no visible join. The claws are fine and the gallery open. At 1.75ct the stone is large enough to carry the ring on its own, and the bypass exists only to keep it from sitting upright like a standard solitaire.

Every stone we set is a lab-grown diamond — the same carbon crystal structure, hardness and optical behavior as a mined diamond, grown rather than extracted. Center stones of 1 carat and above ship with an IGI certificate stating carat, cut, color and clarity. Melee and pave stones are matched to the same color and clarity range but are not individually certified.

Common questions

Why 1.75ct?
Because that is what this diamond weighs. Rings built to a catalog spec land on round numbers; rings built around a stone that already exists land wherever the stone does.

How big does it look?
About 9 x 7mm face-up — between a 1.5ct and a 2ct round for finger coverage, and more elongating than either.

Does the oval spin?
Correct sizing prevents it. The bypass is slightly weighted toward the palm, which helps. We add sizing beads free in the first year if it still moves.

How does it compare to CDT003?
CDT003 is a 2.5ct oval set east-west in a heavy wrap. This is 1.75ct set upright on a fine S-curve — smaller, lighter, much more classic.

Can a straight band sit against it?
On one side, yes. The S-curve means the two sides are not symmetrical.
