The two arms of this ring are not the same. One passes over the diamond in plain polished gold; the other passes under it carrying a line of small stones. That asymmetry is the design — it makes a round brilliant, the most symmetrical shape there is, sit in something that is deliberately not.
The design
A 1.5 carat round brilliant, roughly 7.3mm across, held in four claws where the two arms of the shank cross. The upper arm is plain and rounded; the lower arm is bead-set with 0.15ct of small round lab-grown diamonds that run out from under the stone and fade before the back of the band. Because the crossover holds the diamond from the sides rather than lifting it on a head, the ring sits low and the stone's full width is visible from directly above.
Why this ring exists once
One piece only, built around this 1.5ct round. The pave on the lower arm was set to this stone's girdle line, so the ring is not reproducible as a stock design.
About our lab-grown diamonds
Every stone we set is a lab-grown diamond — the same carbon crystal structure, hardness and optical behavior as a mined diamond, grown rather than extracted. Center stones of 1 carat and above ship with an IGI certificate stating carat, cut, color and clarity. Melee and pave stones are matched to the same color and clarity range but are not individually certified.
Common questions
How many small diamonds are on the shank?
Around ten round lab-grown diamonds, 0.15ct in total, on the lower arm only. The upper arm is deliberately left plain.
Why put pave on only one side?
Because the ring is a crossover, not a symmetrical solitaire. Matching both arms would flatten the effect the design is built on.
Is a crossover setting secure?
Yes. The stone is held at four points where the two arms meet, and the low profile means fewer knocks than a raised solitaire. Have any ring checked once a year.
Can I stack a wedding band with it?
Yes — a straight band sits neatly against the flat side of the crossover. A contoured band works too if you want it flush on both sides.
Are the small stones certified?
No. IGI certification covers the 1.5ct center. Melee under 1 carat is matched to the same color and clarity range but is not individually certified.

Doubts? Good.
The right ring deserves them.
Yes. 100%. They're chemically, optically, and physically identical to mined diamonds — same hardness, same fire, same sparkle. Even a jeweler can't tell them apart without specialized equipment. The only difference is origin: ours grew in a few weeks instead of a few billion years.
Ready-to-ship pieces arrive in 3–5 business days with free insured shipping. Custom rings and bridal sets take 2–3 weeks — because each is handcrafted to order. We'll keep you posted at every stage, including a final photo before it ships.
No-questions-asked 30-day returns on every non-customized piece. If it's not perfect, send it back — full refund, no awkward calls. For custom and engraved pieces, we offer store credit so you can choose again.
Complimentary resizing within the first month— including a return-shipping label. Our lifetime warranty also covers ongoing maintenance, polishing, and minor repairs at no cost. The ring is yours forever; so is our service.
